Click here to view current online essay writing classes, taught via Zoom. There are no current erotica writing classes planned, but you can find writing prompts and advice in my book How to Write Erotica.

Over the last 12 years, I’ve taught dozens of erotica writing workshops online and offline to help budding authors unleash their creativity, overcome their fears and master the art of arousing readers on the page. Through an always welcoming, inclusive and non-judgmental environment, I lead writers through exercises to help them see the erotic potential in everyday life as well as outlandish fantasies, explore identities other than their own and craft fully fleshed out stories that readers will want to read and reread. Many students have gone on to publish writing first developed in my classes in anthologies and other publications.

I’ve taught my in-person Erotica Writing 101 workshop at universities such as University of Pennsylvania, Northwestern and SUNY Purchase, conferences CatalystCon, Sex Expo and SEXx, at the 92nd Street Y Tribeca, the Center for Sex Positive Culture in Seattle, as well as at sex toy stores and bookstores across the world, including Babeland in New York, Secret Pleasures in Washington, DC, BookWoman in Austin, The Pleasure Chest in New York and Los Angeles, Self Serve Toys in Albuquerque, The Smitten Kitten in Minneapolis, The Tool Shed in Milwaukee, Nomia in Portland, Maine, Come As You Are in Toronto, Canada and Other Nature in Berlin, Germany, among others. Online, I’ve taught multiple sold out classes for LitReactor.com.

Currently, the bulk of my teaching takes place online, with select in-person events. See my calendar page for any current classes.
